DESCRIPTION:Free for the community\, located at Milk & Cookies Support group: \nFamily & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a CPR course completion card to meet a job requirement. This course is ideal for community groups\, new parents\, grandparents\, babysitters\, and others interested in learning how to save a life. This class is interactive and engaging\, and participants will have the opportunity to practice hands on skills such as compressions\, choking relief airway support\, use of an AED\, and first aid if desired. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique\, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. After the course participants will walk away with resources\, real-world skills\, and a course participation certificate.
