We are pleased to be a local lactation clinic serving the greater Bangor/Penobscot area, and beyond!
Our lactation clinic is staffed by Registered Nurses with clinical background in maternal child health, who are both International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC).
We provide primarily in person consultations, in a cozy, comfortable, compassionate, and professional environment. Our one-on-one Lactation Consultations are meant to be cost-effective as well. We are committed to ensuring that cost is not a barrier to care. Currently, all lactation visits are provided at no charge. As the program expands, insurance billing options may become available. We don’t want anything preventing you from reaching your infant-feeding goals! Your goals are our goals, and we look forward to meeting you!
We can help with a variety of lactation issues, including but not limited to:
- Poor infant weight gain
- Low milk supply
- Hyperlactation/Oversupply
- Pain with Latch
- Pumping challenges
- Breast or Nipple Pain
- Mental Health & Breastfeeding
- Feeding Twins/Multiples

Primarily we provide in person lactation consults at this time. However, we understand various barriers clients may face including transportation, mobility issues, and more. We are committed to working with our clients to ensure they get the help they need. Please contact our clinic today to discuss your unique needs, and how we may be able to meet them.
CLC’s provide a wonderful resource to educate and support lactating parents. However, our staff are both IBCLC, which is a lactation provider with more hours in both education and clinical experience. Often, lactating parents choose to seek care from an IBCLC to ensure they are getting the highest level of consultation.
